Taunton Police Department

This is a photograph of a Taunton Police Lieutenant taken in 1909. The position of Lieutenant was created in 1897. At the time of this photograph, the department had four lieutenants. They were Hugh H. McCormick, Augustus J. MacDonald, William B. Webster and Thomas E. Young. I have yet to identify which one of these officers this is.
